About Tall Emu

Founded in 2001, Tall Emu started life as a one-stop, all things IT services business. After working together with a large Telco the founding geeks, decided to join forces. Tall Emu initial aim was to take their corporate IT experience and offer bespoke solutions to the business needs of the SME market.

Online Armor Personal Firewall

Not content with just helping business, Tall Emu also created the world’s best Free Firewall; Online Armor. After receiving a tonne of phishing emails and reading about a few high profile cases of internet crime, the boys of Tall Emu decided that they would like to see if they could help combat this scurge by producing a Firewall for the Window PC’s.

Since 2010 Online Armor is now run by Austrian Software company Emsisoft.

Tall Emu CRM

Having spent a lot of time extending, integrating and installing CRM systems, Tall Emu noticed that they were running into some common problems with CRM solutions being offered to the business community here in Australia.

The main issues that they saw were the CRMs were limited in their ability to allow for new fields or rename existing fields to suite the internal language / naming conventions of the businesses in question.

Also, integrating these CRM to other business systems or external data services was hard and costly to the client.

These CRM issues were so frequent that it was decided that the only way to solve it was to build our own. Tall Emu CRM has been especially adapted for online businesses that need to pump leads or orders into their CRM seamlessly.
